Finn Dawg's
A Port Jervis, New York nonprofit built on sports, community, and the belief that a card collection can do a lot more than sit in a box.
Finn Dawg's Cards & Collectibles for a Cause Inc. is a New York not-for-profit corporation, recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and registered as a charity with the State of New York.
We were founded in August 2025 by three people from Port Jervis who share two things: a love of sports and a commitment to giving back. Our charitable mission is to benefit children and young adults college-aged or younger, first responders, and veterans of the United States Armed Forces.
We do it through a model that's ours alone — accepting donations of sports cards, collectibles, vehicles, and other items, and using those donations alongside cash gifts and fundraising to fund programs and support in our community. We also make distributions to qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations whose work aligns with our mission.
Finn Dawg's operates three funds, each with a distinct mission:
Supports our broad charitable mission across all three focus areas — kids, first responders, and veterans.

Nick Ferrara was born and raised in Port Jervis, New York. After graduating, he joined the United States Army and served his country at home and abroad as a Military Police officer. He was honorably discharged as a disabled veteran — a distinction he carries with pride, and one that drives much of what Finn Dawg's stands for.
After his service, Nick worked at the VA hospital in Albany before moving to the Department of Justice, where he performed federal background investigations. He later retired from federal service and now works for the State of New York as a veterans representative — advocating for the men and women who served, just as someone once advocated for him.
A lifelong sports fan and avid collector of cards and memorabilia, Nick found in Finn Dawg's a way to combine two things he loves — the hobby and the mission. He is the father of one bright, athletic daughter, and lives with his family in the Albany area.
Bill Onofry grew up in Port Jervis, New York, and has remained deeply connected to the community ever since. He is a partner at Walsh & Onofry, a Port Jervis law firm, where his practice focuses on wills, trusts, tax, and estate planning. Beyond the law, Bill is an investor and partner in a variety of businesses across the country.
Philanthropy isn't a sideline for Bill — it's a conviction he and his family share. He was a founding director of The HAWKE Fund, a youth sports fund created in memory of a friend and built to give kids in the Western Orange County and Pike County area access to the sports and experiences they deserve.
Like Nick, Bill recently rediscovered his love of collecting cards and memorabilia. Finn Dawg's became a natural fit — a place where the hobby and the cause come together. He lives in Pike County, Pennsylvania with his wife and three children.
Mike Calvario is a Port Jervis, New York native who has stayed connected to his roots even as his career and ventures have taken him far beyond them. A few years ahead of Nick and Bill growing up, Mike has maintained a close bond with both — built through years of shared investment in local sports programs, travel ball, and business together.
Mike was a founding director of The HAWKE Fund, created in memory of his friend Lonnie Hawke. He coached alongside Lonnie, and remains close to the Hawke family today. That relationship — and the belief that sports change kids' lives — is at the heart of why Mike is part of Finn Dawg's.
After a career on Wall Street and subsequent roles across the insurance industry, Mike now runs a niche garageman's lien business in New York, alongside a portfolio of real estate and business ventures across the country. He lives in Pike County, Pennsylvania with his wife and two children.
